In a major development, top actor Dileep was arrested today in connection with the conspiracy behind the case related to the abduction and sexual assault of a leading actress in February this year. This news has send shock waves across Malayalam film industry and in the state of Kerala, as Dileep is one of the most influential actors. Last week, the police had questioned Dileep and film director Nadirsha for 13 hours in connection with the case. Police had raided the business premises of Dileep's wife Kavya Madhavan.
